.NET Domain Names
When the Dot NET generic top-level extension was initially started in 1985, along with the first domain name extensions on the Internet, it was planned to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure organizations. Considering the fact that there were no specific requirements about the usage of the TLD, though, .NET domains were obtained and used for different purposes and by a lot of people. This TLD represents a wonderful alternative to .COM, particularly if the necessary domain with the latter TLD is not available for registration.
Ordering a .NET domain with our firm is a piece of cake and takes no more than a couple of minutes, given the fact that we are partners with an ICANN-approved registrar firm. You can acquire such a domain for a period between 1 and 10 years, or, if you already possess a domain, you can move it over to our company and we will renew it as soon as the transfer process is completed. Transfers are possible for all domain names, which are at least 60 days old, provided that they are unlocked and that you have taken an EPP transfer authorization code – security measures introduced by the Registry organization against unauthorized transfers. You can easily update the WHOIS info of the domain through your Control Panel tool, or, if you wouldn't like this information to be public at all, you can order a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to get your real contact information.
The .NET domain extension supports internationalized names, so you can choose if you want to focus on a particular country or region using a domain name in the regional language, or the global online community – using a generic English name.
